Valentine Scratch card Quiz!

Hi! Bev here with a Valentines themed project that I decided to make as a bit of fun for the husband.
We don't generally celebrate Valentines day but as my blog post happened to fall today, I created these little quiz scratchcards.

What you will need:
  • Silhouette Cameo® or Silhouette Portrait®
  • Cardstock
  • Printer
  • Silhouette Scratch-Off Sticker Sheets
Step One:

Open up a new page in your Silhouette Studio and set the page settings to show print and cut lines as well as registration marks.  I used an A4 piece of cardstock so I made sure to have the correct paper size selected too.
Using the rounded rectangle tool, draw a credit card sized rectangle on the page and replicate as many as you require (I started with 6 on the page but reduced it to 4, totally persoanl preference)

Using the fill tool, select a paper to create the background for the cards

Draw a seperate rounded rectangle slightly smaller and position over the top of the cards to create a layer for the writing to show up on

Write out your questions, and then underneath the answers.  Between these two rows you should leave room for the Yes! and X words which will be hidden by the Scratch-Off material

Step Two:

Once you are happy with your cards, select print and print onto cardstock. Once printed, ensure the cut settings are set to 'cut edge' and load into your Silhouette

Step Three:

Once your cards are cut, go back into your studio and draw a rectange around the middle row of words.  This will be the template for cutting your scratch off material.  Replicate this shape as many times as needed in a fresh design page.  Select the suggested cut settings and load your material into your Silhouette. Once cut, peel off of the backing sheet and stick over your cards.  Then your project is finished and ready to be played! Thankfully my hubby got top marks and thought it was quite a fun idea.

I have really enjoyed sharing with you and hope you have a wonderful Valentines however you choose to celebrate!
