Hi! Bev here with a super simple project, which I have been honestly putting off! I didn't believe it was possible to print onto vellum with an inkjet printer. I decided to try and the result is stunning!
What you will need:
- Silhouette Studio
- Printer
- Silhouette Vellum
Choose an image you would like to put onto your vellum. I decided on a beautiful watercolour image as I am a huge fan of florals and of late, watercolours!
Import and rezise to the letter size.
Send to your printer and leave for a few minutes to let the ink dry and then it is ready to use! The possibilities are endless with this technique, you can cut out shapes and flakes for scrapbooking or journalling. I plan to use this as an insert cover in my planner, and the effect is just beautiful!
I can not believe I put this off for so long. So now there will be no stopping me. The Silhouette Vellum is thick and takes the ink beautifully.
I have enjoyed sharing this tip with you and I can't wait to see what you create!
