What's Happening Wednesday ... 2nd November 2016

Hello Everyone, Welcome to another What's Happening Wednesday post....

At present we are busy, busy, BUSY getting ready for the Stitching, Sewing and Hobbycrafts Show at Birmingham's NEC. It runs from 3rd to the 6th November from 9:30 until 17:30 (17:00 on Sunday).

This week we were thrilled to see that the Silhouette UK Blog is being read by Silhouetters across the globe and to receive a lovely recommendation from Australian blogger Get Silvered. It's not everyday that we're described as 'sensational'!

Whats Happening Wednesday

Hello Everyone, Welcome to another Whats Happening Wednesday post....

First of all thank you for everyone who joined me last week for the Launch of the Cameo 3 on Create and Craft TV - we had some really busy shows so what started the day as Cameo 3 Launch ended the day as a Curio show! 

I think by now most people have received their machines and I hope you are enjoying them, we are aware of some software issues and are working closely with Silhouette America to resolve these for you as soon as possible (more updates on this on our facebook page) if you do need to contact us with an issue please include as much information as possible in your email and send it to support@graphtecgb.co.uk

This weeks design is this trendy "You Rock" card, with the design you get all of the elements to cut the design and also the design to print and cut so you really get the best of both worlds this week, our lovely Design Team Member Janet has made this card, I love the colour combo! Those of you that have downloaded the Free Crafter Stitch font that Nadine made for us will be pleased to know she has added a tutorial on how to use it for a print and cut over on her own blog HERE

What's Happening Wednesday... Cameo 3

Hello everyone

We are trying out a bit of a different format on the blog this week and If you enjoy it will make it a regular feature!

We decided to call it What's Happening Wednesday and make it a little catch up on all things Silhouette UK

So we hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

Cameo 3

Today is a particularly exciting day for us at Silhouette UK HQ, when I say us I mean me (Lisa) and Brian (our tech guy who fixes all of your Silhouette Problems) as we have a Cameo 3 to play with!!!

It feels like it has taken forever to arrive, so much so tat I get to see it for just a day before I go on Annual leave (I know! how badly timed was that!) so this seemed like the perfect topic for our news post.

So we will start with some sneak peeks!

These are not perfect pictures, instead they were taken with excitement on my phone with a real need to share, but I hope you enjoy them either way!

We also have an un-boxing video on its way, which seems like the perfect time to share our new Silhouette UK YouTube channel with you! The new video will be making its way on to there along with some old favorites too!
we have had lots of questions about the Cameo 3 over on our Facebook page, where we are tracking the ship with the container on and keeping you all up to date with the Cameo 3 release, but for those of you not on there, the 2 main questions have been when can I get one and how much will it cost! To answer these, the container is due around the 16th August in Felixstowe and we hope to have it up here in Wrexham by the 20th August, the RRP will be £319.99 but please look out for offers from our suppliers.

Free Design of the Week

This weeks design is a cute print and cut file, I have not had a chance to play with it yet but our design team have been busy with it!

Design Team Member Karen has made this scrapbook page which has used so many techniques! 

And design team member Janet has changed the print and cut file completely to cut the vinyl for this really summery cup
