Personalised ribbons using heat transfer vinyl

Hey there, it's Sara. Today I am doing a tutorial for personalised ribbons. A perfect way of personalising your gifts with your own text using heat transfer vinyl.

What you need:
Silhouette Cameo/Portrait/Curio
LW POSTER  ( ID #54744)
Pink glitter heat transfer vinyl
Ribbon
Heatpress/iron

MAKING YOUR DESIGN:

I started by writing the text I would like to have on the ribbon using the LW POSTER font,

I used this font specifically as its easier to cut and weed and will look visible on ribbons as well.

Then I measured the ribbon and resized the text to fit the ribbon. 

Then I mirrored the text.

And cut the text using heat transfer vinyl in pink glitter.

And then what was left was to heatpress/iron it on. 

An easy way of personalising your gifts and making it extra special!
