Design of the Week - You Are So Sweet - 5th May 2018

Hello Silhouetters, Karen here with this week's free design.

I thought that this design would be perfect for a DL sized thank you card - and it was.

I cut the top and bottom of the ice lolly from glitter card, the lolly stick from a scrap of self adhesive kraft sticker paper.

For the words I mirrored the writing and cut them from adhesive cardstock (which is on sale at £9.99 from £17.99 for 25 sheets), then dipped them into a pot of Silhouette glitter.  They could be cut from adhesive sheets but I wanted mine to have more depth to them.

This really was a quick and fun card to 'knock up' and the design would also be perfect for a child's tee-shirt or even a scrapbook title - now there's an idea, off to make a page using this as the title!
