How to create personalised magnets using your own photos

Hi everyone today I've been experimenting with the Silhouette Magnetic Printable Paper. I decided to make a very personal project and create this fridge magnet for my mum. Its a photograph of her beloved Cavalier King Charles Pip, who sadly went over the rainbow bridge a few years ago. I know she will love it.

Materials needed

Your photo

I just wanted to make a quick note about the photo you use. Mine was one that I had cut out by hand and then put a white piece of paper behind and took a photo of on my phone. I did this as it was already a cut out picture that I had of him. If your using a photo that you already have on your computer make sure that it is one with a strong contrast between the person/animal/object that you want to make a magnet out of and the background. This means that the tracing tool will work well on it. You can also use the magnet trace tool is you find that the trace tool isn't picking up the difference between you background and object enough.
